Advantages of the DLMF Metal 3D Printer
The DLMF metal 3D printer, based on Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technology, sprays metal powder onto the build area while using a high-power laser to layer the material. This approach offers high productivity and produces metal products with nearly 100% dense and fine microstructures. The printed objects exhibit mechanical properties comparable to or even superior to forged materials, without the need for additional heat treatment processes.Additionally, unlike Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) metal 3D printers, the DLMF printer has no size limitations for the objects or the printer itself. It can repair damaged products by adding material to existing ones or even print multi-material metal products, offering unique versatility.
